With a small iron and coloured wax you can create a beautiful painting. This is a very enjoyable process and gets great results with no experience needed.

Rosemarie Langtry is a contemporary visual artist living in Clonaderig, Ballinahown, Athlone Co. Westmeath. She graduated in fine art from GMIT and has a certificate in Community Art Development from NUI Maynooth. She works mainly in encaustic and mixed medium.

Langtry’s work is spontaneous and inspired by nature and its environs. Using paint and layers of encaustic she creates work that encapsulates atmosphere and emotion. Rosemarie works within the community, facilitating art classes for children, women’s groups and active retirement groups.

Various Event Tickets are also available at our Festival Office: 14 Dublin Street, Longford. For more information call Sharon on 043 3344004
