The Gramophone will be appearing at the Cruthu Arts Festival 2019. Its creator Donnacha Cahill is a professional artist from Athenry, County Galway who works mainly in steel. His art practice revolves around observations and his pieces aim to spark the imagination and create conversation. He has been commissioned to make large works for – The Department of Education, Galway County Council, and Antrim County Council. He has also created large installations for Trinity College Dublin, RTÉ, Electric Picnic, The European Recycling Platform, and Dublin Airport. Donnacha has exhibited at many arts festivals in Ireland and throughout the UK.
