We work mainly in oils but one of our artists works with Charcoal as well.
We have had Tutors from time to time, mostly when those tutors can come to us on a Thursday evening, We do however try to explore all sorts, as we find painting is a longtime learning curve.
I am a self taught artist working when possible out on location trying to capture the beautiful scenery of Ireland.
My work is mainly oil but have also works in Pastels, watercolour and Chinagraph Pencil.
I hope I do justice to this wonderful landscape of Ireland.
I’m a self taught artist based in Keenagh, Co Longford. My areas of interest are grayscale portrait and landscape art as well as large abstract work.
Rebecca Lyons is a Visual Artist based in Tralee, Co. Kerry. She has participated in a number of exhibitions and arts events including Culture Night where she did ‘I’m Listening?’, 2017 a 1,000 origami crane installation and ‘Metamorphosis’, a 5,000 origami butterfly installation in 2018 at Roundy’s Bar in Tralee.
Craig is currently working with alcohol inks and epoxy resin as well as 3d sculpts on canvas
Stephen Pulbrook is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Westmeath. He received a B.A. in design in Visual communication from The Athlone institute of Technology in 2015 and has since been working as a graphic designer and freelance artist. This year his work focuses on animals and consists of 70 a5 paintings and a number mini canvases.
I create nature inspired paintings on canvas, which are also available as limited-edition prints. I work predominantly with acrylic paint and inks, alternating between soft impressionistic botanical landscapes and large colourful florals. I enjoy experimenting and playing with the accidental and random effects that occur, when working with ink and water.
People often say my work is dreamy and calming, and I like to think I am bringing the gentle beauty of nature into people’s homes and hearts.
Rachael McCreanor (PALEFACERACH) is a graphic designer and visual artist from Longford. She graduated with a B.A. in Design in Visual Communication from A.I.T in 2015 and since then has been working in the Design industry and freelancing as a Visual artist.
She uses a large variety of mediums to create illustrations, jewellery, lino carvings and general mixed media artworks.
My name is Malik Amir, I have been a resident of Richmond court Longford over 3 years now, I’m a self taught artist using the medium acrylic and clay, I have also enjoyed being involved in a verity of culture activities in longford town, which include projects with Longford volunteer centre, Backstage Theatre, The Attic Club, Mide Street Theatre and Longford Samba Band,its my dream to make a life here in Ireland, to participate fully in the community and to make this County and community proud with my art work.
I’m Ana Valen (artist alias – menuli). I am exhibiting a series of illustrations titled ‘herb & bone’. My works explore connections between humans, nature and animals. I especially love to portray the flora and fauna we often overlook.
